Ok here is the deal. We are going to run a contest between now and the end of the year to see who has the ultimate G.I.Joe "Fansite". First let me just say that this is meant to be in good fun. Here is how it will work. Each website (Anyone with a URL that is dedicated solely to covering the world of GIJoe in some way is qualified to enter) who wishes to participate will need to put together a team of no less than 3 people and no more than 5 from their respective website. The teams can consist of anyone from that website whether it be a vol, admin, owner or just a user who wishes to help represent their favorite site. Each team will need to pick a team captain who will be the primary point of contact for each team. Once your team is put together you will need to announce your team in this thread which will be pinned at the top of this section. (Each member will have to register here in order to participate in the competitions).

We will then over the course of December hold a number of competitions that will include the following:

1. G.I.Joe Toy Trivia Contest
2. G.I.Joe Comic Book/Cartoon Trivia Contest
4. G.I.Joe Ultimate Collection Contest
3. G.I.Joe Custom Contest
5. G.I.Joe Dio Contest

The winner of each competition will be awarded a certain number of points and at the end the team with the most points will be named the TNI Ultimate G.I.Joe Fansite for the year. We will do a full feature on that winning website which will be posted on the main page of TNI (and there may be some type of monetary prize awarded to the team members, though we are still working out that part.) Once we have all the team entries at the beginning of each competition we will list complete rules for each one. Basically the winners of the trivia contest will be based on a point system determined by which team gets the most answers correctly and the others will be determined by a panel of impartial TNI judges.

We encourage each team that decides to enter to promote themselves and their website they represent as much as possible over the course of the games. If teams want to create site badges to be placed in their signatures with links back to their sites that will be allowed, we will even host the graphics for you if need be. We can customize your member titles as well if you like. Basically we want each site to be able to show themselves off as much as possible over the course of the competitions with the ultimate payoff being a full feature spread about the site on the main page of TNI and of course bragging rights for being the winner smile.gif.

So start getting your teams together now. You have till the end of November to get your teams submitted. Just announce the team in this thread with the name of the site you will be representing, the team name if you so choose to have one and the names of the people on the team along with the name of the Team Captain. Please only one team entry per website.

And again this is all meant to be done in good fun and a way for everyone to promote their own websites. Anyone or team who conducts themselves on these boards in an un-professional manner will be subject to dis-qualification from the contest.
