HISS Tank member Gyre-Viper has posted an image of the S.N.A.K.E. Armor and Dr. Mindbender set that was supposed to be released in the Modern Era line. Being that the SNAKE Armor was just released recently in the Rise of Cobra line, after a long absence from the various G.I. Joe lines over the years, could we see this set make an appearance in the future? Being that Hasbro likes to use tooling at least more than once, perhaps this is a possibility.

After all, most fans do want a S.N.A.K.E. Armor in it's original colors....



Nothing special here. Well, kinda... I mean we got
both, so nothing new... one became a member of the Defense of Cobra
Island 5 pack and one became 'SERPENT' Armor... but here's the
prototype of the Snake Armor that was gonna come with Mindbender....
I've also included links to some of the other stuff for those just
joining the fun.
originally it was gonna be this armor with Mindbender, a modern era
Mirage with Chuckles, Whirlwind with Recondo, and Ferret with the twins.
anyways... figured I'd share this since I posted pics of the other two
and the ferret with twins protos have shown up several times over the
past year or so in numerous threads.
